The ride starts from Will Rogers park, but goes out of the park to Sunset Boulevard and other local paved roads, then to Sullivan Fire Road for some heart pumping climbing to Mulholland Drive (dirt road) and Mountain Park (former Nike Missile radar station). Derek and Jason explore the radar station site, then to an awesome single track with abandoned car rotting in the canyon on the way to the Hub junction in Topanga State Park, where many bikers and hikers gather around. We come back to Will Rogers on the fantastic single track of Backbone trail, crossing a bridge with a great view of the Santa Monica Mountain area and downtown Los Angeles, and the Pacific Ocean far away from the mountain.
The Will Rogers Loop ride of about 24 miles was recorded for about 122 minutes (some time consuming climbing sections were not recorded).
